Key features include an intuitive and uncluttered graphical user interface that looks and acts the same on all supported operating systems (see the next section for details), context-sensitive tools, built-in comprehensive documentation, a code editor, support for animating 2D and 3D elements, dedicated 3D and 2D physics engines, as well as a source level debugger.

Additionally, it comes with support for importing 3D models from Blender, Maya or Max applications, supports blend shapes and skeleton deforms, includes material models, flexible shader, and offers powerful post process filters.

Despite the fact that it is oriented towards game programmers, the application can also be used by game designers, graphic designers, level designers, animators or any other type of artists.
